Allow customers to login to their account and access any purchased files or videos (works with both legacy and new customer accounts)
Step 1: Enable Customer Accounts in your Shopify store
a) Go to Your Shopify Customer Accounts settings
b) Click the Edit button
c) Tick the ‘’Show Login link in the header of online store and at checkout"
d) Click Save
Step 2: Add a "My Files/Videos" button to your website for your logged-in customers
1. Legacy/old customer accounts
a) Go to your Shopify Online Store section, click on Themes, and click on Customize
b) Select Legacy customer accounts
c) Choose between Customer order or Customer account page
d) On the Customer account page, click on 'Add app block' and select Sky Pilot - Digital Download Link
e) On the Customer order page, click on 'Add app block' and select Sky Pilot - Digital Order Link
f) Click Save
2. New customer accounts
a) Go to your Shopify Online Store section, click on Themes, and click on Customize
b) Select Checkout and customer accounts
c) Once the page loads, select the 'Customer accounts' template, and choose between Order Status, Orders and Profile pages
d) On the Profile page, click on 'Add app block' and select Sky Pilot - Digital Download Link
e) On the Orders page, click on 'Add app block' and select Sky Pilot - Digital Download Link
f) On the Order status page, click on 'Add app block' and select Sky Pilot - Digital Download link and/or Sky Pilot - Access Digital Files
Note: Both buttons are placed on the Order status page - the difference is in the placement. One button is added to the entire Order status page template, and the other is added to a specific Order.
c) Click Save
