Why am I seeing a "Rate Limit Exceeded" message when downloading files?

1. What does "Rate Limit Exceeded" mean when I try to download files?

This message appears when there are too many download requests from your device or network in a short period of time. It’s a protection mechanism to prevent abuse and ensure fair use for everyone.

2. Why am I seeing this message?

If the system detects more than 20 download attempts within 10 seconds, or more than 100 attempts within 1 minute from your side, it temporarily blocks further downloads to protect the service.

3. How long will the block last?

The block is automatically lifted after 10 seconds or 60 seconds, depending on the rate of requests.

4. I’m not trying to spam downloads, why did this happen?

Usually, this message only appears if someone is intentionally making excessive download requests. However, it can sometimes happen in rare cases like network issues or automated tools accessing the files.

5. Why is this rate limiting necessary?

This helps protect the store’s files and ensure a smooth experience for all customers by preventing misuse or overload on the system.

6. What should I do if I see this message?

Please wait for a minute and then try again. If the problem persists and you believe it’s an error, reach out to our support team.
