Microsoft Edge is blocking downloads by Sky Pilot for my customers marking them as unsafe. What can I do?

Microsoft updated their Edge security protocols which are designed to interrupt downloads of potentially dangerous files. Unfortunately, this marks a lot of completely safe files like yours as dangerous. This is totally outside Sky Pilot's control and is causing a lot of issues throughout the whole internet.

The main point is that Microsoft does not know that your store is safe, and you need to let them know.

Here is how to do it:

1. Create an order for yourself (via Storefront, Admin or Sky Pilot). Add in this order a product that your customers can't download because it's blocked

2. Open the delivery page from Edge. You can download it on any operating system. Try to download the file, it's blocked

3. Click on the three dots on the rightmost part of the download

4. Click on "Report This File as Safe". It will open a new tab with a Feedback to Microsoft title. Select "I am the owner of this website and I want to report an incorrect warning". Proceed to answer all the questions and then in a matter of a few days your customers will be able to download again all your zip files.

As a temporary solution, please instruct your customers that your files are safe, and if they can use another browser they won't see any warnings.

We have also released a small popup that instructs them to change their browser

If your customers want to keep using Edge, they can simply click on the three dots and click on "Keep", the file will be downloaded on their computer.
