My customer's are seeing a 404 page when trying to access their download page. What can I do?

If your customers see a "The requested URL was not found on this server (404)" error when opening their Sky Pilot download page, the issue is most commonly caused by an incorrect App Proxy configuration in Shopify. The App Proxy is responsible for routing customers from your store to their secure download page, so if it's configured incorrectly, the download page won't be accessible.

To verify your App Proxy settings:

  • In your Shopify Admin, navigate to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
  • Select Sky Pilot and open the App Proxy settings.
  • Confirm that the proxy URL ends with .myshopify.com/apps/downloads and that no additional characters or custom paths have been added.

If your App Proxy is configured correctly but customers are still receiving a 404 error, the issue may be caused by another configuration problem or a temporary Shopify issue. In that case, please contact our support team with your store URL and, if possible, an example download link so we can investigate and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
