Order Email Delivery Delay

Sometimes, instant delivery is just a little too fast. To give you more control over your fulfillment flow, we’ve introduced Order Email Delivery Delay for Sky Pilot.

While delivery is usually instant, this feature allows you to hold your digital delivery emails for a specific period.

Why Use Delivery Delays?

  • Fraud Protection: Give your system time to flag high-risk orders before the files are sent.

  • Customer Edits: Provide a buffer for customers to fix typos in their email addresses.

  • Inbox Management: Prevent customers from being overwhelmed by multiple notifications (order confirmation, receipt, and delivery) at the exact same second.

Setup Guide

Ready to adjust your timing? It only takes a few steps:

  • Navigate to Settings in your Sky Pilot dashboard.

  • Select Emails and Security.

  • Open the Email Template Editor.

  • Locate the Order email delay field.

  • Enter your desired delay (in minutes).

  • Save your changes.

Important notes:

Maximum Delay: Please note that the delivery window can be set for a maximum of 60 minutes. This ensures that while you have a buffer for security and organization, your customers still receive their digital assets in a timely manner.

Order Processing: Once a delay is set, Sky Pilot will hold the delivery email in a "pending" state. It will trigger automatically the moment your specified timeframe has passed.
