Why are Subscriptions Important?

Subscription-based selling models, like the ones you see on Netflix, are popping up more and more in today’s business world. For Shopify store owners, selling digital products with subscription plans isn’t just about making money—it’s about building stronger relationships with customers.

Your customers will love the convenience of ongoing access to digital products, and subscription models cater to that perfectly. By jumping on board with subscriptions, merchants can roll with the changes in the market, keep customers interested, and set themselves up for success in the long run, even in a crowded online space.

This is particularly for digital products, since merchants can cater these products even more specifically towards their subscribed customers.
